My Paleo Survival Kit – Day Two

prepared

THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTION FOR GOOD PREPARATION – My Paleo survival kit.

Day two is almost over. We are having grass feed T-bone steaks for dinner – yummo! Jackie is doing well too, discovering her new talent at cooking pumpkin soup.

The most important thing when doing the Paleo 30 Day challenge is to be prepared.

This is my survival kit that saves me from weak moments and non-Paleo outings:

Veggies cut up in the fridge
A couple of boiled eggs
Home-made Paleo Beef jerky
Nuts and seeds (no peanuts of course )
Home made mayo and ketchup (and sometimes Paleo Pesto)
Frozen goulash/soup and bone broth for lazy and crazy days ( cos’ let’s face it, they happen to all of us right? )
And some low fructose fruits such as guava and pomello ( I love pomello – also great in salads, guava too! )

All of these things really help me get through the Paleo month and in general, when I am not doing the challenge and just trying to stick to the Paleo lifestyle. Although, during regular times, I generally add some Paleo treats to my survival kit.

Tomorrow, I am posting some ‘before photos ‘ feels a bit silly, so I made it even sillier – stay tuned for some partially nude and naughty shots :).
